About Geometry Worksheet Activity 10A:                 

 

Activity 10A is an introduction to pi (     ) the ratio of the circumference to the diameter of a circle.

 

Prerequisite Skills:  Measure lengths to the nearest .1 cm.(Assignment 1.11).  

 

Definitions:  The circumference of a circle is the length ("distance around") of a circle.

                            Pi is the ratio of the circumference to the diameter of any circle.
