Assignment 2.3 is an introduction measurement of the rotation of a ray with a protractor.  

 

Prerequisite Skill: Identify rays (Assignments 2.1 and 2.2).  

 

Definition:  A protractor is an instrument used to measure rotation of a ray from 0 to 180 degrees.  A protractor has two scales: one scale measures clockwise rotation; the other scale measures ounterclockwise rotation.
