Assignment 7.17 is an introduction to trigonometric inverses.

 

Prerequisite Skills:  Write trigonometric equations (Assignment 7.12).  Find approximate decimal values for trigonometric ratios for acute angle measures using a calculator or a table of trigonometric values (Assignment 7.14).

 

Definition:   A trigonometric equation solved for the angle measure is an inverse trigonometric equation.
