About Geometry Worksheet Assignment 9.15:

Assignment 9.15 is an introduction to using slope and the Distance formula to classify triangles and quadrilaterals with vertices having algebraic coordinates.

Prerequisite Skills:  Find the algebraic expression for the distance between two points having algebraic coordinates (Assignment 9.11).  Find the slope of a line segment having algebraic coordinates for its endpoints (Assignment 9.9).  Use slopes to determine whether pairs of lines through points with algebraic coordinates are parallel or perpendicular (Assignment 9.10)
