About Geometry Worksheet Activity 3B:
Activity 3B is an introduction to isometries (rigid transformations).
Prerequisite Skill: Identify images and preimages in transformations (Assignment 1.14).
How to identify an isometry:
(Do problem 1 by following the steps below.)
1. Place the transparent paper on the preimage.
2. Trace the preimage on the transparent paper.
3. Slide the transparent paper to the image.
4. Decide whether the image is exactly the same as the preimage.
