About Geometry Worksheet Assignment 3.5:     

 

Assignment 3.5 is an introduction to isometries (rigid transformations) of polygons.  

 

Prerequisite Skills:  Recognize isometries and label images in isometries(Assignment 1.14).

 

Definition:  An isometry is a rigid transformation (the size and shape of the transformed figure do not change).  Three tyoes of isometries are translations,

                        reflections, and rotations.
