Prerequisite Skills: Identify and name altitudes of triangles (Assignment 3.16). Construct a line through a point perpendicular to a line (Activity 2E).
How to construct the altitude of a triangle:
(Do problem 1 by following the steps below.)
1. Construct a line from A that is perpendicular to line segment BC.
2. Name the point of intersection D.
