About Geometry Worksheet Assignment 10.16:             

 

Assignment 10.16 is an introduction to areas of circles.

 

Prerequisite Skills:  Calculate the circumference of a circle (Assignment 10.14).  Identify the radius and diameter of circles (Assignment 10.1).

 

Theorem:   The area of a circle is equal to one-half the product of its radius and circumference.
