Assignment 2.15 is an introduction to angle bisectors.

 

Prerequisite Skills:  Name rays (Assignment 2.1).  Name angles (Assignment 2.4).  Identify congruent angles (Assignment 2.8).  Solve algebraic equations with one variable.  Evaluate algebraic expressions.     

 

Definition:  The bisector of an angle is a ray in the interior of the angle with its endpoint at the vertex of the angle that divides the angle into two congruent                                     adjacent angles.

 

Postulate:  An angle has exactly one bisector.
