Assignment 2.17 is an introduction to perpendicular bisectors of line segments.
Prerequisite Skills: Identify perpendicular lines (Assignment 2.16). Identify midpoints (Assignment 1.16). Name lines (Assignments 1.1 and 1.3) and line segments (Assignment 1.12).
Definition: The perpendicular bisector of a line segment is perpendicular to the line segment at its midpoint.
