Assignment 3.7 is an introduction to reflections of polygons.  

 

Prerequisite Skills:  Measure the distance from a point to a line (Assignment 2.19).  Label images in reflections (Assignment 3.5).

 

Definition:  A reflection is an isometry in which each point in the image is on the opposite side of a line at the same distance from the line as the corresponding

                        point in the preimage.
