About Geometry Worksheet Assignment 3.9:
Assignment 3.9 is an introduction to rotations of polygons.
Prerequisite Skills: Label images in rotations (Assignment 3.5). Measure angles (Assignment 2.6).
Definition: A rotation is an isometry in which rays from a given center drawn through each point in the preimage are rotated. Each point in the image lies on a ray at the same rotstion and distance from the center as the corresponding point in the preimage.
