Assignment 4.8 is the development and application of the theorem about the sum of the measures of the angles of a triangle.

 

Prerequisite Skills:  Measure angles with a protractor (Assignment 2.6).  Solve algebraic equations with one variable.  Evaluate algebraic expressions.     

 

Theorem:  The sum of the measures of the angles of a triangle is 180.
