Assignment 5.3 is an introduction to included angles and sides in triangles.
Prerequisite Skills: Name line segments (Assignment 1.12). Name angles (Assignment 2.4). Identify pairs of congruent sides and congruent angles using the letters S and A (Assignment 5.2).
Definitions: In a triangle, an angle is included between a pair of sides if the vertex of the angle is the intersection of the sides.
In a triangle, a side is included between a pair of angles if the endpoints of the sides are the vertices of the angles.
