About Geometry Worksheet Assignment 6.11:     

 

Assignment 6.11 is an introduction to the SSS postulate for similar triangles.

 

Prerequisite Skills:  Write ratios and simplify fractions (Assignment 6.1).  Identify pairs of corresponding sides of similar triangles (Assignment 6.8).

 

Postulate:  If the lengths of the pairs of corresponding sides of two triangles are proportional, then the triangles are similar (SSS).
