About Geometry Worksheet Assignment 6.12:     

 

Assignment 6.12 is an introduction to the SAS postulate for similar triangles.

 

Prerequisite Skills:  Write ratios and simplify fractions (Assignment 6.1).  Name similar triangles (Assignment 6.8).  

 

Postulate:  If the lengths of two pairs of sides of two triangles are proportional and the pair of angles included between the sides are congruent, then the triangles are similar (SAS).
