Geometry worksheet to help students find lengths on transversals of segments intercepted by parallel lines, and use the converse to identify parallel lines.

About Geometry Worksheet Assignment 6.4:

Assignment 6.4 is an introduction to proportion theorems resulting from pairs of transversals intersecting three or more parallel lines.

Prerequisite Skills:  Calculate cross-products (Assignment 6.2).  Solve proportions (Assignment 6.2).

Theorems:  Parallel lines intercept segments with proportional lengths on all transversals,

Lines that divide common transversals into segments with proportional lengths are parallel.
