Assignment 6.7 is a development of the relationships of lengths of sides and angle measures in the image and preimage of a dilation of polygons.
Prerequisite Skills: Name and identify dilations of polygons (Assignment 6.6). Measure sides and angles of polygons (Assignment 3.2).
Solve proportions (Assignment 6.2).
Theorem: In a dilation of polygons: the lengths of the coreesponding sides are proportional; the corresponding angles are congruent.
