Classifying Triangles by Angles: Distance Formula
Objectives
Use the Distance Formula to classify triangles as acute, right or obtuse.
About Geometry Worksheet Assignment 9.6:
Assignment 9.6 is an introduction to using the Distance formula and the Pythagorean Theorem converse in classifying triangles as acute, right, or obtuse.
Prerequisite Skills: Find the distance between two points using the Distance formula (Assignment 9.2). Apply the Pythagorean Theorem converse to classify angles as acute, right, or obtuse (Assignment 7.4).
