Activity 3G is an introduction to the construction of points of concurrency in triangles.

 

Prerequisite Skills: Construct perpendicular bisectors (Activity 2D).  Construct angle bisectors (Activity 2C).  Construct medians of triangles (Activity 3E). 

 

How to construct the circumcenter of a triangle:

 

(Do problem 1 by following the steps below.)

 

1.  Construct a perpendicular bisector of each side of the triangle.  

 

2.  Name the point of intersection D.
