About Geometry Worksheet Assignment 4.20:

Assignment 4.20 is an introduction to midsegments of triangles.

Prerequisite Skills:  Measure line segments (Assignment 1.11).

Definition:     A midsegment of a triangle is a line segment with endpoints at the midpoints of two sides of the triangle.

Theorems:   A midsegment of a triangle is parallel to a side of the triangle.
