About Geometry Worksheet Assignment 7.11:
Assignment 7.11 is an introduction to adjacent and opposite legs in right triangles.
Prerequisite Skills: Identify the right angle, legs, hypotenuse, and acute angles in right triangles (Assignment 3.13).
Definitions: For an acute angle in a right triangle:
a leg is opposite the angle if neither of its endpoints is the vertex of the angle.
a leg is adjacent to the angle if one of its endpoints is the vertex of the angle.
