Assignment 7.9 is the development of theorems relating the lengths of sides in right triangles with acute angles measuring 30 and 60.
Prerequisite Skills: Apply the Pythagorean Theorem to find lengths of sides in right triangles (Assignment 7.3).
Theorems: In a 30-60 right triangle, the length of the short leg is equal to one-half the length of the hypotenuse.
In a 30-60 right triangle, the length of the long leg is equal to the length of the short leg multiplied by 3 .
