Assignment 9.3 is introduction to using the Distance formula in classifying triangles in the coordinate plane as isosceles or scalene, and quadrilaterals as parallelograms, rhombuses, or kites.

Prerequisite Skills:  Find the distance between two points using the Distance formula (Assignment 9.2).  Classify triangles by congruent sides as scalene, isosceles, or equilateral (Assignment 3.12).  Classify quadrilaterals by congruent sides as parallelograms, rhombuses, or kites (Assignment 3.19).
